He is working with Prof. Yuming Jiang on the throughput analysis of communication networks using stochastic network calculus.

A fundamental question in network information theory is to predict the throughput limit of a communication network by taking into account the bursty nature and delay requirements of real sources. The apparently simple problem poses serious challenges due to the lack of an efficient tool to model these parameters. Stochastic network calculus is a tool which renders itself to efficient modeling of delay and burstiness. His research focuses on quantifying the delay constrained throughput using stochastic network calculus.
